Now my Invidious instance is available in the Yggdrasil Network, you can read more about what Yggdrasil is in that link ;3.
I mainly did this because the Roscomnadzor, the Internet censorship program of Russia that blocked my instance (or some videos) and spams my email, therefore, Russians that wanted to access Youtube without problems used my instance, which is now blocked.

I guess Russians or censored countries can still access Invidious using Tor or I2P, but we ALL know how slow Tor and I2P (10x slower than Tor) are compared to the “clearnet” (connecting directly basically).
This is where Yggdrasil comes in, is a End-to-End encrypted (that means, no TLS certificates nor HTTPS) Mesh network with a IPv6 internal routing. Is not software that ensures privacy, but if we are talking about speed when loading pages, Yggdrasil does a good job because it tries to find the shortest route available, which is really great advantage compared to Tor or I2P. But whatever, if you want to know some more about Yggdrasil, visit their site: https://yggdrasil-network.github.io/
Now, the real deal, you can access Invidious trough Yggdrasil using this two domains:
- https://inv-ygg.nadeko.net (Which uses normal DNS)
- http://inv.nadeko.ygg (Which uses Alfis DNS, the internal DNS for Yggdrasil domains)

Russia has only blocked the main domain, so you will be still connecting to the backend servers (the ones that serve you the video) without problems. :3
Enjoy!
